It is a snow day, but there is no snow on the ground.

I know I said I would post some art today, and it's coming, but first look at this video of a little budgie talking. Some of the things he says are pretty surreal and creepy. Haha, hmm...

Hey, Sarah here, and if you are here, reading this you have stumbled across my amazing little LJ journal that doesn't actually have anything in it right now! Good for you! This journal, while pretty bare now, will host all my creative endeavors, little rants, news, cartoons, icons and all the other stuff I have clogging my harddrive right now. And you'll love it. I swear.

So, a little about me, my name is Sarah Hays, and I am 15 and currently in high school in the most amazing state of all, Colorado. I love to draw, paint, sculpt, knit, craft, repair, read, write, sing, and do basically anything in the general arts area. I am also an avid skiier, and I don't think three feet of snow in one sitting is that big a deal. I point that out only because I think it's funny when some people in other states get a few inches and FREAK. :) I LOVE epic movies (Watchmen) and smart comedies (Juno) and scare-the-pants-off-of-you movies (The Shining,) but I'll watch basically anything.

I have two twisty little budgie parakeets, Sweet Pea and Kiwi, probably the cutest hamster in the world named Marshmallow, a cool Crested gecko named Frank (The Tank), several fish, and an emotional Austrailian Cattle Dog named Elwood. Needless to say, my house pretty much doubles as the working set for Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom most of the time because of all the animals everywhere. I love that.

So yeah, that's me in a nutshell. Tomorrow: less words; more art. I promise. Sarah out.
